Sber submitted a new service based on the Gigachat neural network – “Tourist Assistant”. This tool simplifies the organization of trips, offering ready -made routes, selection of hotels, restaurants and attractions. So far, the service works with Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands, but in the future its functionality will expand to other regions of Russia.
Through the GIGA platform. Chat users can receive information about tours, excursions, as well as links for booking. AI will not only tell you where to go and what to see, but also show photos of places and their location on the map. For example, you can request a selection of hotels in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk or ask about souvenirs that should be brought from the trip.
The development became part of the AI-Sakhalin program, which was presented in 2023 at the AI Journey conference. The authorities of the region, together with the Sberbank, introduce artificial intelligence technologies for the development of tourism and data management.
