Virtual reality is still a new and interesting technology where very unusual devices sometimes appear. One of these is the prototype gloves from the Japanese company Sharp. She conveys the sensations of textures and forms in the VR, using vibration giving on all five fingers.
Interestingly, a regular controller with a joystick and buttons is attached to the glove. This means that it can be used as a classic gamepad. The glove, it is worth noting, cannot accurately track the movements of the fingers and does not give a feeling of resistance when capturing objects, like some other models. Many noticed that the Sharp glove is similar to Power Glove-the Nintendo device at the end of the 80s, which looked cool, but did not work very well. Perhaps Sharp will be able to make a version of this idea that will really work.
