Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has become the thinnest folding smartphone in the world, bypassing competitors literally on a fraction of a millimeter.
Although the Honor previously stated that their Magic V5 8.8 mm thick holds the record, recent comparisons showed the opposite. Galaxy Z Fold 7 turned out to be a little thinner – 8.79 mm, according to the measurements of the ICE Universe insider. The difference is minimal and is 0.01 mm.
It is worth noting that the stated Honor thickness of 8.8 mm refers only to the white version of the Magic V5, without taking into account the films and the protruding camera module. In real conditions, in other colors, the case can be thicker. At the same time, the company insists on the correctness of its measurements, referring to laboratory standards.
In fact, by the way, both devices are very close in thickness, and for an ordinary user, the difference will be invisible.
