The GPD company showed the first portable game console with the latest AMD Ryzen Ai Max+ 395 processor. The device is called GPD Win 5. In a short video published on social networks, you can see how the Black Myth: Wukong play with 170 to 212 FPS is launched on the console.
The Ryzen Ai Max+ 395 processor was presented at the CES 2025 exhibition. It combines a powerful RDNA 3.5 graphics and Zen 5 nuclei, and also uses a quick memory with a bandwidth of up to 256 GB/s.
During the test, the processor temperature was about 65 ° C, and energy consumption at 55–58 watts. The Radeon 8060S graphic processor worked at a frequency of about 2.5 GHz.
Although the graphics settings in the video are not indicated, the indicators look good. Also on the video you can see the GPD Win 5 controls – analog sticks, buttons and, possibly, a touch panel.
The GPD Win 5 will be shown for the first time to the public at the Chinajoy 2025 exhibition, which starts on August 1.
