The Ministry of Health did not exclude the possibility of creating a federal register of people suffering from migraines. This was stated by Andrei Moskalev, head of the department for the implementation of the registration programs of the department, during a round table dedicated to the treatment of migraines.
Currently, the government has already approved a list of diseases for federal accounting, which included diabetes, lung diseases and mental disorders. However, migraine is not included in this list. According to Moskalev, the formation of such registers takes time and a phased approach. The decision itself will enter into force on March 1, 2026.
The official noted that the development of digital technologies in healthcare in the future will create a unified system for taking into account all diseases. This will help completely translate medical statistics into electronic format.
