In the Samara region, a large -scale experiment was launched on the use of unmanned technologies in agriculture. This year, with the help of drones, it is planned to process about 200 thousand hectares of fields, which is approximately 9% of all sown areas of the region.
The Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said that the use of drones allows us to achieve 35% of economic efficiency compared to traditional methods. In the region, programs based on artificial intelligence are actively developed for accurate introduction of fertilizers with an analysis of the state of each section of the field.
The agricultural sector of the Samara region demonstrates sustainable development. At the beginning of August, farmers have already collected 53% of the crop of grain and grain -combat crops, having received more than 2 million tons of grain. The total area of crops in the region is about 2.2 million hectares.
