At the factory in Kingiseppe, under construction under the Eurochem North-West-2 project, the installation and commissioning of a water preparation system that works in a closed cycle has begun. This complies with modern environmental standards and energy conservation standards. The installation capacity is designed for the production of 1 million tons of ammonia and 1.4 million tons of urea per year. Experts set up a system for managing the processes of dehydration of sediment and lightening wastewater.

According to RIA Novosti, high -quality water purification prevents scale and corrosion, which reduces maintenance costs and supports production efficiency. This was told by the project manager Ilya Beloborodov. After the launch, the installation will be able to produce 1.5 million cubic meters of deeply desired water for steam and clean up to 3.5 million cubic meters of water from the territory of the plant. Despite difficulties, modern technologies are used.

The launch of the system takes place in parallel with construction work. Eurochem is a leading fertilizer manufacturer in Russia, producing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.

“Despite the existing difficulties and restrictions, we strive to use modern technologies that will be relevant in the next decades,” Beloborodov said.
