Elon Musk announced the new Full Self-Driving (FSD) from Tesla with improved characteristics.
Musk said that the system of complete autonomous driving has advanced significantly, and the latest version on the Robotaxi platform in Austin works without a driver. The new model, which is in training, has ten times more parameters and improved loss when compressing the video. Musk hints at its release at the end of the next month with successful testing.
As TesLarati’s industry portal notes, the increase in the parameters will expand the capabilities of the FSD, but can limit memory throughput and cause safety problems.
It is stated that Tesla seeks to enter European and Asian markets, but the main obstacles are regulatory requirements. New parameters and additional data will make FSD safer and more efficiently, bringing the mass autonomous driving.
