Insiders from Android Authority, when studying the code base of the last update of the Gmail application, noticed a code indicating several new functions, one of which is a notification of the sender’s message reaction.
The function in question, as insiders note, is a notice of the reaction to the message using Emoji. Currently, the sender will not find out if someone answers the received message using Emoji. A new setting called “Chat reactions” will allow Gmail to inform the sender, “when someone likes, laughs or meets in other quick ways.”
It emphasizes that Google seeks to make Gmail a real universal messenger, and not just a mailbox. The indicated innovations are just filed into the logic of the conversion of the service with full -fledged interaction in the chat. This and other functions are designed to make Gmail more convenient for communication.
