Google updated the line of available headphones and introduced the Pixel Buds 2A-the first “A” models with active noise reduction. They cost $ 129, which is $ 30 more expensive than the last version, but the set of functions has become noticeably wider.
The main innovation is the Tensor A1 chip, which has brought the support of AI-function and integration with the Gemini voice assistant, which replaced the usual Google Assistant and allows you to use new scenarios: from voice tips to intellectual noise reduction.
In addition to ANC, a transparent mode has appeared in the headphones, and during the calls II-filtration of wind and background noise work.
Autonomy is up to 7 hours from ANC and up to 10 hours without it. The charging case adds another 20 hours, and fast charging in 5 minutes gives an hour of listening. The headphone housing complies with the IP54 standard, the case – IPX4.
Interestingly, BUDS 2A has become more maintained: the case can now be replaced by the battery. The design remained familiar, but four sizes of outpatients and a new IRIS color were added. Pixel Buds 2A are already available for pre -order.
