In the navigation appendix 2GIS, a “children’s profile” appeared, located in the “Friends on the Card” section. This is convenient for parents, as it became possible to track the location of the child, configure notifications and receive information about his location even with the temporary inaccessibility of the device.
The functionality includes the scripts “I came to school”, “went home”, “got on the bus”, and in general it has “harsh restrictions”. Parents also receive automatic notifications in the implementation of a particular scenario. The child will not be able to turn off the geolocation or remove the parent from the list of friends. If the device is turned off, the application notifies the temporary inaccessibility of geolocation.
In development – the function of the history of movements for the analysis of the routes of the child. The joint navigation function is also planned, allowing parents to build routes to the child and see his trajectory in real time.
To activate the children’s mode, you need to add a child to a list of friends and choose the option “Make an account for children”. After that, the child receives a one -time code for activation. The parent receives access to geolocation and notifications.
The children’s mode is temporary: after 14 years, the children’s profile is disconnected, and the account automatically goes into standard mode. Access to geolocation and basic functions is preserved, but harsh children’s restrictions disappear.
