In the Gmail app for Android there were changes related to the update to the version of Material 3. Among the innovations – a new design of letters, the ability to celebrate them as notifications immediately from the curtain and other innovations.
About this writes the portal 9to5GOOGLE. The introduction of this function began in the end of June: in the form of letters with Gmail on the notification panel, the mark “Mark as read” appeared. The new mark is located between the “Archive” and “Reply” buttons.
The developers also presented a simplified version of the search panel and moving the Gamburger menu and the settings / profile icon from the search panel. Moreover, some functions, such as a new design of letters in the form of tablets, are not yet available to all users due to the phased implementation, which takes time, including due to improvements.
