In Moscow, a 34-year-old installer abducted integrated microcircuits in its company worth more than 12 million rubles.
The crime occurred in the Sviblovo area, where the woman, left alone in the warehouse, packed the products in the bag and left the room.
The head of the company’s production of microcircuits announced theft to the police. Records from video surveillance cameras helped to establish the personality of the suspect.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the woman was detained on August 7, but so far it has not been possible to find the stolen microcircuits – the suspect managed to dispose of them at her own discretion.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft on an especially large scale), the woman is under house arrest.
Against the background of this case, there is a general decline in the number of traditional thefts in Russia and the growth of crimes using digital technologies. In 2024, almost 40% of all crimes were associated with cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.
