Ilon Musk and his XII company made their new GROK 4 AI temporarily free for all users.
Earlier, access to the model cost $ 30 per month, and now it can be used without subscription, although there is a limit for free accounts – no more than five requests per day. In addition, GROK 4 received new modes:
- Auto. Automatically connects GROK 4 for complex requests;
- Expert. Allows you to manually choose the use of the model.
At the same time, XII opened free access to GROK IMAGINE – an image generation tool and video in text requests, which used to be available only to subscribers. Now he works on iOS and Android without payment restrictions.
In GROK 4, they improved work with PDF, expanding its capabilities for analysis of documents. XII positions this step as a way to attract new users and test involvement before a possible return to a paid model.
