In St. Petersburg, an educational program is launched on the use of artificial intelligence technologies (AI) in school projects. According to Pavel Rozov, First Deputy Chairman of the City Committee on Education, students will apply AI in the performance of research on physics, chemistry and biology.
A feature of the program will be a practical approach. Schoolchildren will teach not only to generate requests for neural networks, but to use the possibilities of artificial intelligence to conduct real scientific research. This will help children in working on complex projects, where AI can act as an assistant.
Currently, a list of schools that join the new program is being formed. As Rozov noted, not all teachers are still ready to work with such technologies. To coordinate the project on the basis of the Academy of Digital Technologies of St. Petersburg, they will create a special center, which will oversee additional education in the field of AI.
