In the Apple code, information was found about the next generation of iPad mini, which hint at a serious renewal of the main element of the tablet and, possibly, a new type of screen.
According to the leak, a device with code names J510 and J511 will receive the A19 Pro processor – the same that is expected in the iPhone 17 Pro. This chip will have more graphic nuclei than the standard version of the A19. For comparison, the current iPad mini 7 (2024) is equipped with A17 Pro from the iPhone 15 Pro.
In addition, there are rumors that in the future Apple will transfer the iPad mini to an OLED screen. According to assumptions, this may happen no earlier than 2026.
The code also mentions a new budget iPad with a chip A18 (Code J581 and J582), which can be released in the spring of next year.
