Key aspects of Turkmen-Slovenian relations discussed

On August 7, 2025, a meeting was held at the Berkarar Hotel of the Avaza National Tourist Zone between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow) Alenka Suhadolnik.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key aspects of Turkmen-Slovenian relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The parties noted the positive nature of cooperation within international structures, in particular the UN. The importance of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries was emphasized.

Ms.Suhadolnik particularly noted the high organizational level of the conference and thanked for the hospitality. She invited the Turkmen side to participate in the Strategic Forum in the city of Bled, one of the segments of which will be devoted to Central Asia.

The parties expressed their support for continuing active cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
