The insider portal Android Authority conducted a survey among its readers using the Google Pixel smartphones of the average segment. Insiders conducted a survey in connection with the frequent complaints of users about the batteries: many were faced with overheating and even fire.
According to the survey authors, Google released updates for Pixel 4A and Pixel 6A – basically these models caused problems – reducing the battery capacity to prevent overheating. The survey was conducted after that and concerned the opinion of users about whether Google coped with the specified bug.
As it turned out, readers believe that Google copes poorly with the elimination of defects. More than 60 % of respondents believe that Vendor has lost the problem, and only 12.3 % consider the work of the company high -quality. On YouTube and on the social network, opinions were divided, but most respondents (more than 75% in X and more than 80% on YouTube) believe that Google should improve the situation.
Some users noticed that the Pixel batteries are glued to the body in the Pixel models, which can contribute to overheating. Cases of bloating of batteries in the old flagship models Pixel were also mentioned.
