The PCWORLD portal said that Microsoft begins to release functions for the annual Windows 11 update, to version 25H2. The update is published on the Release Preview channel. This suggests that Windows 11 25H2 should be released soon.
As noted, many Windows 11 25H2 functions are probably already installed on many PCs, since Microsoft supports both Windows 11 24H2 and Windows 11 25H2 through the same branch branch. Update 25H2 will be distributed as a “update package”, which is a standard correction of errors, and will be available through the Windows update center. The size of the update and the duration of the installation directly depend on the regularity of the OS. If the user regularly updated the system, the process will be fast enough compared to installing the “from scratch” update.
According to observers, Windows 11 25H2 will be released in one of the autumn releases – in September or October. However, despite the release of the new version, the update is small, and most likely will be released in September.
