General Director of Rostec Sergey Chemezov said that mass production of MS-21, SJ-100 and IL-114 aircraft will begin in 2026. He stated this at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
According to Chemezov, all three models are completely imported. Currently, the SJ-100 is undergoing certification tests. For MS-21, more than 70 systems have already been replaced. By 2030, Rostec plans to create 15 service centers for servicing aircraft. Now eight of these points are operating. The state corporation is also developing a network of repair plants for helicopters.
The immediate plans are the modernization of Ansat helicopters with the installation of new screws and the introduction of the VK-650 V engine, which will be used on Ansaty and Mi-34.
Mishustin noted the key role of Rostec in ensuring the country’s technological sovereignty.
