The press service of the National Research of the Nizhny Novgorod State University (NSU) named after N. I. Lobachevsky reported that the specialists of the research Institute of Mechanics created the Smart Resource software for industrial planning systems. The development is intended for enterprises with a single and small -scale type of production, such as machine -building or instrument -planning plants.
The program is able to perform up to 5 million operations in four hours on a standard office computer. It takes into account all the stages of the production process – from the arrangement of orders priorities to the availability of resources and the time of equipment overhaul. This can significantly save time and increase the effectiveness of planning at the operational, medium and strategic levels.
Smart resource is completely compatible with the domestic operating system Astra Linux. The development was conducted two years based on the fundamental developments of the institute, which were created for more than 25 years. This is the first product of the NSU, included in the register of Russian software.
As the developers noted, the system adapts to the specific requirements of customers, maintaining high speed and accuracy of calculations. It is especially relevant for industries with a long -term production cycle, such as shipbuilding and aircraft industry.
