The host of the Hardware Unboxed YouTube channel demonstrated how the Ryzen 7 5800x3D and 9800x3D processors behave in modern games.
The test stand consisted of Ryzen 7 5800x3D and 9800x3D processors, RTX 5090 video cards, DDR4 3600 CL14 (5800x3D) and DDR5 6000 CL30.
In 1080p, National with the Ultra preset at the very beginning of 9800x3D demonstrated 36% higher average performance and superiority by 25% of 1% LOW. This was preserved at about the same level of the whole game. In general, the 9800x3D was about 35% faster in average FPS and a little more than 40% faster than 1% LOW than 5800x3D.
In resolution, 1440 rub 9800x3D was about the average frequency of personnel by about 25%faster, and 1%LOW – by 41%.
In 4K processors showed very close results. However, 1% LOW in 9800x3D was approximately 10% higher.


Conclusion
In general, 9800x3D in Full HD was approximately 35-40% faster than 5800x3D. This fully corresponds to the results of the Hardware Unboxed test previously held on the YouTube channel (see screenshot above).
As for 5800x3D, it was in performance at about the same level from 9700x and Core Ultra 7 265K.
