The Saudi company Humain, engaged in artificial intelligence (AI), began the construction of the first data centers in the country. They are planned to be commissioned in early 2026 using semiconductors supplied from the United States.
The sites will appear in Riyadh and Damamam. According to the head of the company Tarek Amin, commissioning is expected in the second quarter of 2026. Each object at the start will have a power of up to 100 megavatts.
For these Date Centers, Humain purchases American chips, including the latest NVIDIA solutions. The company has already received the necessary permits from local regulators. In May, Nvidia reported plans to put in Saudi Arabia hundreds of thousands of its processors for artificial intelligence. The first 18 thousand of the latest Blackwell chips are designed specifically for Humain.
In addition to NVIDIA, Advanced Micro Devices connected to the project, which entered into an agreement with Humain in the amount of about $ 10 billion.
