Sber in the fall of this year will launch sales of the first payment bracelets in Russia for children. The novelty is designed for bank customers aged 6 to 13 years and will become an alternative to cards and smartphones for non -cash payment.
Bracelets will be available in two universal colors – green and purple. The device is fixed on the wrist by adjustable fastener, which reduces the risk of loss. Payment occurs through scanning the QR code in the Sberkids application, similarly to the existing functionality.
Parents will be able to control the costs of the child through a mobile application. Bracelets are allowed to use in schools, which ensures the safety of funds. The payment technology corresponds to standard banking protocols.
A notification of the start of sales will be received by Sberbank to Sberbank in the fall of 2024.
