Schoolchildren from Russia received medals at the international exhibition of young inventors

10.08.2025

Moscow schoolchildren successfully performed at the international exhibition of young inventors, which took place from August 6 to 8 in Osaka, Japan. They won two gold, two silver and one bronze medal, and also received special prizes.

One of the winners was the eleventh grader Nikita Simakov from the Moscow Palace of Pioneers. He created an automated system to control the microclimate in the premises. The device regulates the level of carbon dioxide and humidity, supplying fresh air, and the data is displayed on the computer in the form of graphs.

Tenth grader Alexander Sukhotsky received special prizes of Japan and Taiwan for the development of SmartSpray – a system of point spraying of plants. Using the camera and neural network, the device recognizes weeds and plants, and ultrasonic devices apply fertilizers and herbicides only where necessary. This helps to save up to 95% of the funds and reduces the harm to the soil.
