SpaceX continues to expand the STARLINK satellite Internet network. On the night of August 14, the company launched 24 more satellites from the Vandenberg base in California.

The Falcon 9 missile started at 1:05 east of the United States. Nine minutes later, the flight passed regularly, and the second step with one Merlin engine went to orbit to withdraw satellites. The deployment of devices was planned about an hour after the start.

The first step of the rocket (B1093) successfully made its fifth landing, landing on the floating platform of course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean. All its previous missions were also associated with the launch of Starlink.

According to the astronomer Jonathan McDauella, now in orbit there are more than 8,100 active STARLINK satellites of almost 9,400, launched since 2018.

This launch was the 98th for Falcon 9 in 2025 and the 516th since the first start of the rocket in 2010.
