Openai is developing a new browser with support for artificial intelligence, which will work on the Chromium engine and probably first appear on MacOS, the media write. According to sources, Openai already updates ChatGPT to use its capabilities in the Chrome browser.
The new browser will offer a smart selection of tabs, a personalized starting page and a function that will allow the browser to perform tasks for the user, like the Copilot mode in Edge.
ChatGPT already has an Agent mode operating through Linux terminal and Chromium. He knows how to perform tasks in the cloud, for example, create presentations using documents and Internet sources.
According to sources, the Openai browser will work on a single agent system, although outwardly it will most likely be similar to the usual Chrome.
