The press service of the engineering cluster of the Chuvash Republic reported that the Cheboksary Plant of power units (ChZSA) would begin production of leading bridges for Russian excavators-loaders Elaz. According to plans, until 2030 the company will manufacture more than 4.3 thousand such nodes for the Elabuzhsky automobile plant (Elaz).
The development of design documentation was engaged in the engineering company A priori solutions of machines, a resident of Skolkovo. The experimental batch of components will be released in early 2026 and will immediately go to equip special equipment.
Currently, such bridges are not produced in Russia. New products are not a copy of foreign analogues-when creating it, the requirements for the localization of road construction technology are taken into account.
The agreement between the ChZS and Elaz was signed in 2024 at Innoprom. The amount of the contract is 2.5 billion rubles. The implementation of the project is scheduled for 2026−2030 with the participation of other enterprises of the engineering cluster of Chuvashia.
