The Chinese company wanted to return the popularity of BlackBerry button phones

The Chinese company Zinwa Technologies announced its intention to breathe new life into the once -popular BlackBerry button phones. The first model that the company introduced is the BlackBerry Q20, also known as the BlackBerry Classic.

Zinwa completely updated the device at the hardware level. The Snapdragon S4 processor was replaced by Helio G99. The amount of RAM increased from 2 GB to 12 GB, built -in – from 16 GB to 256 GB. The main camera was improved from 8 megapixels to 50 megapixels. The front camera was improved from 2 megapixels to 8 megapixels. The battery capacity increased from 2515 mAh to 3000 mAh. The outdated Micro-USB was replaced by a more modern USB-C connector.

The updated phone now operates on Android 13: this OS has replaced the Blackberry OS 10. The case and a square display with a diagonal of 3.5 “and a resolution of 720 × 720 pixels remained unchanged.

Zinwa plans to sell smartphones in a limited amount called Zinwa Q25 Pro at a price of $ 420.

If the demand is high, the manufacturer will consider the possibility of the release of other models with the QWERTY keyboard: BlackBerry Passport and Keyone, which also work on Android, but are already considered outdated.
