Blue Origin, one of the largest competitors of Spacex, announced the development of missiles, vehicles and spacecraft for the study of Mars. According to the company’s press service, the Mars Telecommunications Orbiter (MTO) on the basis of the Blue Ring platform is ready to support the NASA mission in 2028.
Reportedly, MTO will provide a high -speed connection between the Earth and Mars, supporting robotic and manned missions. MTO uses a hybrid motor installation, which expands flight capabilities and reduces risks. The Blue Origin project is based on the architect Mars Next-Generation Relay and Mars Sample Return.
The device can also deliver up to 1000 kg of payload to Mars orbit. The platform includes powerful computing systems, data storage and AI for future research.
