When launching in 2001, the device cost $ 399. The original ipod fit more than 1,000 songs on 5 GB of a hard disk, provided up to 10 hours of reproduction on the battery and had a unique wheel for controlling one hand. The device automatically synchronized with iTunes, supported MP3, WAV and AIFF formats. The kit included headphones, FireWire cable and power adapter.
Earlier at the same auction, a sealed first -generation iPhone was sold with a rare memory of 4 GB for $ 81,989. At the same time, the device cost $ 499 when launch in 2007.
