The National Research University “Higher School of Economics” took first place in the ranking of Russian universities in training personnel for the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The study conducted an alliance in the field of AI, evaluating the leading educational institutions of the country.

HSE entered the new highest category A ++, created this year. Traditional leaders – the University of ITMO and MIPT – retained positions in the A+group. Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University remained in category A. The rating is based on an analysis of open data and independent studies. More than 150 employers participated in the assessment who talked about the demand for graduates, as well as 12 thousand students who shared the opinion of the quality of education.

As the Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov noted, the rating helps technological companies find qualified specialists. The alliance unites representatives of universities and business to solve relevant problems of education in the conditions of development of and technologies.
