The sound updated the application: it has become easier to look for music, listening is more convenient

The musical service “Sound” presented a large update of its application aimed at simplifying the search for tracks and personalization of listening. The changes affected the main screen and the algorithms of recommendations.

On the updated main page, key sections are now collected: recently listened compositions, new items and a personalized selection of “Sound power”. This function was significantly modified. Combinations were added to it – sets of filters that are adjusted to the mood of the user. Examples of such combinations are “cheerful rare” or “calm foreign”. They can be turned on by one press.

Also, users have the opportunity to create their own combinations of filters. It is enough to configure the parameters once, for example, choose “energetic funny tracks without words”, and save them for quick access.

The recommendation tape was also improved. Now it is updated more often, adapting to the current activity and mood of the listener. Algorithms have become more accurate and capable of responding to short -term changes in tastes. If the user began to listen to the Russian indie, the service will offer him similar compositions. However, if interest in this genre disappears, the tape will smoothly return to the usual recommendations.
