SpaceX canceled the launch of the StarsHip spacecraft as part of the Starship Flight 10 mission due to adverse weather conditions. Initially, the launch was scheduled for the night of August 25, but due to the failures of ground equipment, the launch was postponed and transferred for a day, at night of August 26.
The second attempt to launch also did not take place due to the presence of heap-removal clouds that pose a potential threat of lightning. The next possible launch is planned on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, from August 26 to 27. SpaceX reported this on the social network Kh.
SpaceX reported that the company’s engineers will conduct a thorough analysis to select the optimal time of the next launch. Elon Musk also clarified that dense clouds over the launch pad were the cause of the second consecutive transfer of the start of the ship. Musk noted that at the appointed moment there was a significant risk of lightning in the ship.
