Drones help the military perform several important tasks. They are used to explore the terrain, identify polluted areas, monitor movement, as well as for setting a smoke curtain that hides equipment and positions from the enemy. In addition, drones are used in the processing of technology and uniforms after contact with hazardous substances.
A military expert noted that such technologies greatly simplify the work of the RHBZ. Drones can collect data and measure the level of infection at a distance without exposing people. Another advantage is the low cost. According to the expert, drones are cheaper than traditional RHBZ machines.
The expert also believes that in the future many RHBZ tasks will go to robotic systems.
