WiRobotics has shown the new Allex humanoid robot, developed for work next to people and adaptation to domestic conditions. The presentation was held in the center of robotics innovation on the Koreatech campus. The creators call Allex a step towards robots, which not just perform commands, but interact with a person “naturally and safely”.
The robot can be used in various fields: from production to help in everyday life and medicine. Its peculiarity is the ability to feel power and touch without sensors, reacting to physical contact almost like a person.
Key innovations:
-
Hand With 15 degrees of freedom, capable of performing subtle movements and lifting up to 30 kg.
-
System Weight compensation that allows you to carry out hard work without overload.
-
Allex Weighs only about 5 kg, but can raise more than 3 kg with one hand.
Potential applications are wide: help for older people, work in factories, household assistance (for example, folding clothes or drinking drinks).
Wirobotics creates Allex as a modular platform – you can use only arms, brushes or the entire body. By 2030, the company wants to make such robots everywhere accessible.
