Xiaomi introduced Hyperos 3.0 based on Android 16 and announced the launch of beta testing. The update will bring an updated interface with fresh icons, a processed line of condition and the Super Island function, which works by analogy with Dynamic Island in iOS.
The new function displays notifications, controls reproduction and other active processes directly in the notifications panel. The company also showed a new ringing for the Chinese version of the firmware, and the global, as expected, will save the Google Phone application.
Among other innovations is the possibility of data exchange with Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad and Mac.
The first to access testing on August 29 will be owners of the Xiaomi 15 series, Redmi K80 Pro and PAD 7S Pro tablets.
On September 17, the program will join the MIX FLIP 2 and Redmi K80 devices, and from September 30 – folding smartphones MIX Fold 4 and Mix Flip, the Xiaomi 14 and Redmi K70 line. The stable version of the Hyperos 3.0 will be released in the IV quarter of 2025.
