On August 4, 2025, within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, the opening ceremony of the Youth Forum was held in the Avaza Sports Complex, located on the territory of the Avaza National Tourist Zone. The forum is attended by young leaders from many foreign countries, representatives of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Central Council of the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly.
The goal of the forum is to expand the participation of young people in the implementation of the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development. All planned events, fully consistent with the goals and objectives of the United Nations Youth 2030 strategy, are aimed at developing an effective dialogue between young people representing different cultures, regions and views, and expanding opportunities for participation in solving common problems of sustainable development.
The agenda of the forum includes issues related to international cooperation, innovation, the role of youth in global development. The main goal of the event is to promote such principles as peace, trust and intercultural dialogue, and the forum will also contribute to strengthening humanitarian relations between people.
