The first digital parade of unmanned aerial vehicles and small aircraft was held at the Sakhalin Wings forum. For this, the Government of the Sakhalin Region, the Aurora-Bas company and Glonass JSC were connected by all participants to a single identification system based on Era-Glonass.
During the parade, all planes and drones were tracked in real time. The data was simultaneously transmitted to the flight planning system of the state corporation, as well as to the commercial services of Jupiter and the sky, ensuring the complete transparency of the movement of the equipment.
The General Director of Glonass JSC Alexei Rakevich noted that such digital parades help to develop technologies for unmanned vehicles and the country’s economy. The general director of Aurora-Bas Dmitry Tretyakov added that in the online interface you can see the tracks of each aircraft, its type, owner and characteristics.
This is an important step towards the safe integration of unmanned and ordinary aircraft into a single airspace.
