The new Pixel 10A can disappoint fans-a fresh leak indicates that the smartphone will not receive a modern Tensor G5 chip, produced by TSMC for a 3-nm process.
Instead, Google will install the older Tensor G4 from Samsung, made on a 4-nm process. The device takes place under the code name Stallion and, according to insiders, will receive a screen with a brightness of up to 2000 threads and 128 GB of internal memory.
However, there is a restriction here: the outdated UFS 3.1 standard is used instead of a faster UFS 4.0, which will reduce the speed of working with data.
Sources note that in the Pixel 9A, the Tensor G4 chip suffered from overheating due to the less effective IPOP packaging from Samsung and the absence of a steam cooling chamber. There is a risk that Pixel 10A will have similar problems.
