Samsung begins to prepare the mass production of the new Exynos 2600 processor, which will become part of the Galaxy S26 smartphone series. Earlier, the smartphone line used mainly Qualcomm chips, but the launch of Exynos 2600 will allow the company to reduce dependence on third -party suppliers and optimize costs.
Exynos 2600 is created on the 2-nm GAA technology and will be the first such Samsung processor. It is reported that problems with the low output of suitable chips, which previously interfered with serial production, managed to overcome. To prevent overheating, the chip is equipped with Heat Pass Block technology, which should ensure stable operation at high load.
The Galaxy S26 series will be available in two versions: with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Exynos 2600 processors, depending on the region.
