Samsung officially completed the Galaxy Note 20 series software support. Smartphones will no longer receive Android updates and security fixes.
Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra were released in August 2020 with Android 10. These models became the last in the line. For five years, they received three large Android updates and security patches were regularly produced – first every month, then less often. But now the devices have completely disappeared from the list of supported.
What does this mean for the owners? Smartphones will remain on Android 13 and on the latest version of the security patch that has already been installed. The phone can be continued, but it will become less protected.
If you are the owner of Note 20, you should think about the transition to a more modern model.
