The Schwaba holding of the State Corporation Rostec began serial production of the updated version of the Russar lens 5.6/20 with an E-Mount Bayonet mount. The development of the Krasnogorsk plant named after S. A. Zverev is intended for owners of mirrorless cameras.
The lens has compact dimensions and retro design. A wide viewing angle and effective correction of dystorsia provide high image details with minimal geometric distortions. The model is suitable for panoramic, landscape and city photography.
The launch of serial production was a response to the growing demand for domestic photographic equipment. The company has many years of experience in developing optical systems – in its history the plant has released about 300 models of cameras and lenses with various characteristics.
The new model received positive reviews at the Photovideo International Festival. Fest 2025 in Moscow.
