From September 4 to 14, 2025, the Turkmenistan national boxing team will participate in the inaugural World Boxing Championship, which will be held in Liverpool, England. Four athletes and two coaches will represent Turkmenistan at this international event.
According to sportportal.tm, the team will be led by head coach Yazmuhammet Pazzyyev and his assistant Aliasger Bashyrov.
The athletes representing Turkmenistan are:
- Dovlet Muhammedov — weight category: up to 60 kg
- Yhlasbek Kochkarov — up to 65 kg
- Bayramdurdy Nurmuhammedov — up to 70 kg
- Dovlet Islamov — over 90 kg
The opponents of the Turkmen boxers will be determined after the official draw held prior to the championship.
