Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan are preparing to participate in the international mental arithmetic championship, which will be held in Bielefeld, Germany, from October 4 to 6 this year. The announcement came from the “Kämil Bilim” education center, which is training the participants.
The championship has been held annually since 2008, attracting over 100 participants from nearly 20 countries. Contestants are divided into three age-based groups.
During the competition, students must solve all problems mentally within two hours. Tasks include basic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as more complex topics such as distribution and fractions.
