On December 9, 2025, a large-scale ceremonial event took place at the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan.
The event was organized to mark the birthday of Hazrat Fatima, the Women’s and Mothers’ Day widely celebrated in Iran, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality.
During the ceremony, speakers emphasized the importance of these commemorations, highlighting their role in strengthening friendship, mutual respect, and humanitarian values among nations. It was also noted that Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality plays a significant role in promoting principles of peace, goodwill, and cooperation worldwide.
The program included various cultural performances, literary and poetic presentations, and artistic showcases. A festive atmosphere was created for the participants, fostering warm communication and contributing to the consolidation of cultural ties.
This ceremonial event opened a new chapter in the development of friendly relations and cultural cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan.
