Yesterday, December 9, within the framework of the international conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Expanding International Cooperation towards Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals”, an exhibition of Turkmen national dishes was organized.

A row of traditional white yurts set up on the square gave the venue a special charm. In front of them, warm bread was baked in clay ovens, while festive dishes simmered over open fires.

Women laid the table, preparing pishme and chelpek. These unique culinary traditions, along with a variety of sweet dishes on display, offered foreign participants the opportunity to discover the rich diversity of Turkmen cuisine.
