On December 20, 2025, Ashgabat hosted high-level ceremonies to present state awards as part of events commemorating the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
Jubilee medals and commemorative insignias titled “30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality” were awarded at the Center for Public Organizations, Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Presidential Administration building, and the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center.
Recipients included government officials, public figures, cultural and scientific professionals, and specialists working in the social sector. Their contributions to strengthening neutrality principles and implementing policies aimed at peace, stability, and sustainable development were especially recognized.
During the events, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality status, recognized by the UN General Assembly, remains a cornerstone of the country’s foreign policy.
These ceremonies formed an important part of the program dedicated to the Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.
