On December 9, 2025, an important meeting took place in Turkmenistan’s National Tourist Zone “Awaza.” The Azerbaijani delegation — Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Head of the “Baku” Media Center Arzu Aliyeva — arrived in Awaza and spoke at an international consultation.
The event focused on the role of women in modern society, the promotion of gender equality, and the importance of international cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The participation of the Azerbaijani delegation was a clear demonstration of the strengthening of cultural, social, and strategic ties between the two countries.
