A ceremony was held in Berlin to inaugurate the “UZ Trade House Germany”, attended by Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Germany Dilshod Akhatov, Andreas Jahn (Head of Germany’s Federal Association of Small and Medium Businesses), Bundestag Committee member Saskia Ludwig, and Trade House Director Jonny Bakos.
Jonny Bakos emphasized that the trade house will serve as a vital bridge between Uzbek and German companies, promoting the supply of “Made in Uzbekistan” products to the German market. The showroom is located in central Berlin, near the Brandenburg Gate, inside the Adlon Hotel.
Currently, export-oriented Uzbek goods are showcased, including textiles, agricultural products, food industry items, electrical engineering, and more. In the first nine months of 2025, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover reached $59.8 billion, with Germany accounting for $854.4 million.
